When do the forests turn colorful?

It's getting cooler, the first leaves and needles are changing color... Delicate harbingers quietly announce that the mountains will soon be cloaked in their colorful autumn garb.

With shorter days and falling temperatures in autumn, the trees gradually prepare for winter. The discoloration of the needles and leaves is influenced by various factors such as temperature, day length, sun, frost, and other factors.
The splendor of golden autumn usually begins around the end of September and often reaches its peak in October. However, there can be significant local differences in the color changes – for example, while the trees in Rothwald are already glowing golden yellow, the larch trees in Hittuwald may still be timidly changing color.

It is almost impossible to make a prediction. Let's give nature time to unfold and reveal its colors, and let's be surprised to see where the forests will turn golden yellow first.
